It’s a book written by a young girl whose father is a lawyer defend- ing a black man in a rape case. It’s set in the American south. Did you buy or borrow it? My father bought it for me. Are you enjoying it? Yeah. Would you recommend it to others? I would, though I’m sure lots of people have read it already. I saw something about Nancy Wake on TV and wanted to read more about her. What’s it about? An Australian woman who worked with the French Resistance against the Nazis. She was known as the White Mouse. Did you buy or borrow it? I bought it in Alice Springs. Would you recom- mend it to others? I saw it in the bookshop here at the airport. It struck a chord with me. What’s it about? It’s about a woman who’s re-evaluating her life after the end of a relationship. She’s been invited to spend the sum- mer with friends in Corfu – not a bad place to do some re-evaluating, is it! Are you enjoying it? I’ve just started it, so a bit early to tell.
