Open your eyes and you will be in The Tea Room enjoying a reviving repast to see you through to lunch. 6. Kinokuniya The Galeries Victoria Level 2, 500 George Street Sydney 02 9262 7996 Kinokuniya is one of the most beautiful bookshops in Sydney and carries a large range of books as well as comics and magazines, stationery and gifts.Their exten- sive range of Asian language books makes it a popular destination for students and travellers. 8. Angus & Robertson Pitt Street Mall Sydney 02 9235 1188 Down the stairs this long estab- lished store is always reliable for a great bar- gain.You will often find books at excellent special prices that are exclusive to them. Also a fantastic range of magazines. 9. Borders Pitt Street Mall Sydney 02 9235 2433 Borders has a large range of American titles often unavailable in (GoodReading) walking sydney Staircases and bookcases seem to go together in Sydney as GR discovered on our walking tour of the city’s bookshops. They’re all either upstairs or downstairs, or on multi-levels, so we recommend good shoes and plenty of rest stops!
